The Planning and Development Department (P&DD) plays a critical role in the planning and development of the province, steering it towards development through sound planning, which has been the vision of the Department under the current political leadership. The P&DD is striving to achieve the targets and goals set by the Government. The P&DD is coordinating and leading local, national, and donor-funded projects across the province. As the head of the department, my task is to ensure the timely completion of projects within budget so that the quality of life for the inhabitants can improve.
