A Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) meeting was convened under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary (Development) Hafiz Abdul Basit to discuss various development schemes. The meeting was attended by Secretary C&W PP&H Mr. Lal Jan Jaffer, Joint Chief Economist (Infrastructure) Mr. Nadir Naseer, and Chief of Section (PP&H) Mr. Siddique Ahmed Kaker.
The agenda of the meeting included several important development projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and facilities in Balochistan. Among the key projects discussed were:
- Construction of Shirani Town for the Newly Created District Shirani (Phase-II): This project focuses on the development of Shirani Town, providing essential amenities and infrastructure for the newly established district in Balochistan.
- Housing Scheme for S&GAD Officers and Employees: The project aims to develop a housing scheme for the officers and employees of the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), ensuring better residential facilities for government employees.
- Construction of DIG Office, Residence, and Allied Services for DIG Office Kharan: This project will include the construction of a new office, residence, rest house, and other allied services for the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) office in Kharan to support the operations of law enforcement agencies in the region.
- Construction of Judicial Complex in Barshore: This scheme aims to establish a judicial complex in Barshore, providing modern facilities for judicial activities and ensuring better access to justice for the local population.
