Today, an important meeting was held by the Programming Section of the Planning & Development Department (P&DD), presided over by the Secretary Planning, to discuss the progress of the department’s official website. The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including the heads of various sections, to assess the current status of the website’s development and to take crucial decisions regarding data dissemination.
During the meeting, the Secretary Planning reviewed the advancements made by the website development team and expressed satisfaction with the progress so far. The team provided detailed updates on the functionalities being integrated into the website, emphasizing the user-friendly interface, robust security measures, and the comprehensive nature of the information that will be accessible to the public.
One of the significant milestones achieved in this meeting was the approval of the Data Dissemination Policy by the Secretary Planning. This policy is a cornerstone for ensuring that the data shared on the official website is accurate, timely, and relevant to the needs of various stakeholders. The Secretary underscored the importance of transparency and accessibility in the dissemination of information, aligning with the department’s commitment to good governance and public service.
In line with the approved policy, the Secretary instructed all Chiefs of Sections to promptly provide the required data to the Web Manager. The Secretary emphasized the need for collaboration across all sections to ensure that the website is populated with up-to-date and comprehensive information that reflects the department’s activities, plans, and achievements.
