ACS (Development) chaired a Departmental Progress Review Meeting of P&D Department on 5th October 2026, reviewing ongoing assignments and directing officers to ensure timely compliance and close coordination.

A Departmental Progress Review Meeting of the Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan, was held on 5th October 2026 under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary (Development), Planning & Development Department. The meeting was attended by senior officers of the Department and focused on reviewing the overall performance and progress of various activities being undertaken by the Planning & Development Department. During the meeting, the forum reviewed the status of ongoing departmental assignments, implementation of decisions taken at various forums, and progress on matters requiring follow-up by the concerned sections and officers. The participants also discussed issues and challenges affecting the timely completion of assigned tasks and considered measures for their effective resolution. The Chair emphasized the importance of effective coordination, timely completion of assignments, institutional efficiency, and strict follow-up of decisions taken at various departmental and apex forums. The Additional Chief Secretary (Development) directed all concerned officers to ensure that assigned responsibilities are discharged with professionalism, diligence and a result-oriented approach. He stressed that matters requiring action should be pursued proactively and that unnecessary delays in implementation and compliance should be avoided. The meeting concluded with directions to all concerned officers and sections to maintain close coordination, ensure timely compliance with decisions, and regularly monitor the progress of assigned activities to achieve the objectives of the Planning & Development Department effectively.
