A meeting of the Parliamentary Committee under the chairmanship of Mir Zahoor Buledi, Minister for Planning & Development Department, was held on 3rd March 2026 in the Conference Hall of the Planning & Development Department to review the Balochistan Fisheries and Aquaculture Bill. The committee discussed key provisions of the proposed bill aimed at promoting sustainable fisheries and aquaculture development in Balochistan. Members reviewed the draft in detail and shared recommendations to further strengthen the legislation. The chair emphasized the importance of developing a comprehensive legal framework to support the sustainable growth of the fisheries sector and improve livelihood opportunities for local communities.
