The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) forum, under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary (Development), convened on 9th March 2026 to review development schemes related to the establishment and improvement of sports complexes in various districts of Balochistan. During the meeting, the forum discussed multiple proposals aimed at enhancing sports infrastructure across the province. The schemes were presented before the forum for detailed consideration, focusing on promoting healthy activities, encouraging youth participation in sports, and improving access to modern sports facilities in different districts. After thorough deliberation, the PDWP forum considered the schemes in accordance with the relevant rules and development priorities of the Government of Balochistan. The initiatives are expected to play an important role in fostering sports culture, providing recreational opportunities, and supporting the development of young talent throughout the province.
