PDWP Reviews Local Government Development Proposals

A meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) was held on 29 April 2026 under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary (Development). During the meeting, the forum reviewed and considered various development proposals submitted by the Local Government Department. The proposals were examined in detail with regard to their technical soundness, financial viability, and alignment with overall development priorities. The forum discussed initiatives aimed at strengthening municipal services, improving urban infrastructure, and enhancing service delivery at the local level.
