PSC Meeting on "Development of Ziarat Town" Held under Chairmanship of ACS (Dev:)

A meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) of the Federal Government-funded project “Development of Ziarat Town” was held on September 11, 2026, under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary (Dev:), Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan. The meeting was attended by senior officials of the concerned departments and other relevant stakeholders. At the outset, the Project Director (PD) briefed the forum on the overall progress of the project and presented a detailed overview of the physical and financial progress achieved so far. The forum reviewed the implementation status of various components of the project and examined the progress in relation to the approved scope and objectives outlined in the PC-I.

During the meeting, the Project Director also requested approval of the work plan and cash plan for the current financial year, outlining the proposed activities and corresponding financial requirements for timely implementation of the project.

The forum undertook a detailed examination and scrutiny of the proposals, with particular focus on their consistency with the approved PC-I, implementation requirements and financial provisions of the project. The members also deliberated on the proposed activities to ensure that the implementation remained within the approved scope and objectives of the project.

After detailed review and scrutiny, the Project Steering Committee approved the proposals that were found to be in line with the approved PC-I of the project. The forum emphasized adherence to the approved project scope, timely implementation of activities and prudent utilization of allocated funds to ensure achievement of the intended objectives of the Development of Ziarat Town project.
