Its core functions include: • Conducting field inspections and site verifications. • Reviewing project implementation and budget utilization. • Identifying bottlenecks and recommending corrective actions. • Preparing regular progress and evaluation reports for decision-makers.” The M&E Wing operates through divisional monitoring units across Balochistan, ensuring on-ground coverage and timely reporting from every district. Each division conducts field monitoring of at least 25% of development schemes, while the M&E Wing independently reviews 8% of projects across all sectors annually.” During the current financial year, the M&E Wing has strengthened monitoring systems through digital reporting, standardized templates, and evidence-based field inspections. • Hundreds of development schemes have been physically verified. • Monitoring reports are regularly submitted for review at the highest levels. • Corrective measures have improved project delivery, transparency, and accountability.” The Wing is gradually introducing digital tools for monitoring, integrating GIS mapping and mobile-based reporting systems to ensure real-time data collection and transparency. Capacity-building workshops and trainings are being conducted to enhance staff skills in data analysis, evaluation, and results-based management.
